My Priorities

A reflective assessment to help you align your values, gifts, priorities, and boundaries for living generously.
Activity 1 of 3 1 / 49

Where will I focus right now? Which needs align with both my values and my available gifts?

North helped you clarify what matters most. East helped you recognize what you have to offer. Now The Giving Compass turns South toward understanding your priorities.

You may already have found yourself thinking:

“I can’t do everything.”

“My time, energy, and financial resources are limited.”

That is exactly why priorities matter. Limits do not mean you are unwilling to help. They help you decide where your attention and resources can make the most meaningful and sustainable contribution.

This part of The Giving Compass will help you answer two practical questions:

Where will I focus right now?

Which needs align with my values, my available gifts, and my current capacity?

Most people find their capacity changes over time. This is not about judgment; it is about clarity. Priorities need to be re-evaluated periodically so they reflect your current situation, energy, and capacity.

When people have defined their giving priorities, talents, and boundaries, giving feels aligned, not draining.

Three simple steps

You will move through this experience in three parts:

  • Capacity and Margin — How full is your life?
  • Focus
  • Boundaries

This is a guided reflection rather than a test. Choose what feels true today; you can revise your responses later.
